1st week: Initiation Therapy with Shamanistic Archetypes

February 1st to 7th, 2009

No mater what are the words or techniques used in Coaching and Therapy, it is the level of direct experience of archetypal energies on the part of the therapist and the client that are the catalyst of deep transformation. During this special training, we will be diving deep collective unconscious, emerging with tools we can use for transformation.

Students will be working with flexibility of their consciousness, essential in therapy, and an important resource in any creative work in life. The program itself will be flexible, depending upon the needs of those present. It will include direct experience of the Olodus, the 16 basic energies of the Universe, and how these energies create the greater matrix of the universe. Other archetypal systems to be explored are the Orishas of Afro-Brazilian Shamanism, and Shamanic access to the consciousness of various past Geniuses. Emphasis will be at all times increasing the abilities of students in creating change in Coaching and in family and social systems.

Participants will receive an essential training in Antos Initiation Therapy, created by Rowland after 30 years of experience in Transforming Shamanism.

2nd week: Indian Shamanism

February 9th to 14th, 2009

Sweat Lodge

The sweat lodge we will build within the group is a thousand year old tradition that our ancestors used to heal as well as to clear their bodies and spirits. The ceremony is derived from the first and oldest teachings. It is from the origin which lies in the belly of our mother earth, in one of the first ceremonies that we experience when we assume shape, become strength, meet ourselves with the four elements and directions, the creator, the great spirit.

The sweat lodge represents the belly of our mother earth where we are received and nourished as sperms, where we are in unity with all powers of the universe. The ceremony is based on the clearance and blessing with the holy fluid which is the water, the warmth of life, the wind and the fire. Lava stones which originally became their warmth from mother earth and later consolidated on the surface of earth are being used.

We use medical plants which are laid on the hot stones in order to unfold their essence. After having closed the entrees of the sweat lodge water will be poured over the stones. This is the moment we can inhale when medicine, knowledge and wisdom manifest and balance. We call this "Memory of the first breath", in remembrance of the moment as we were received. In this ceremony we experience the wisdom of our ancestors of how we obtained our lives.

Construction of shamanic Tambours

Since many years the tambour is the voice of several peoples. This wonderful  instrument has many mysteries, legends and powers. The participants have the possibility of experiencing and understanding the Tambour's life as an instrument of healing and a trip into a different world with its teachings and the power of the heart of mother earth with which we will participate.

3rd week: Fogo Sagrado & Ouro Verde ("Holy Fire and Green Gold")

February 16th to 20th, 2009

A theoretical but also experience-driven course. "Green Gold" ("Ouro Verde") is an excellent tool for professionals of any field (especially for therapists) and for persons that strive to transform their potential into qualification. This technique was developed by research with Brazilian Indians and Shamans, through the study of extraphysical phenomena and alchemistic concepts. It combines shamanistic and oriental knowledge, perspectives of psychology and elements of quantum physics. It is a holistic therapy that regards the individual as spirit, emotion, body and soul and discovers "thought-models" like improper belief- and behavioral systems that disturb the individual and collective evolutionary process.

The course offers the participants a first taste of this technique with a perceptible amelioration of life quality by the extension of consciousness, the transformation of belief systems, blockages, fears and feelings of guilt and by vitalizing the well-being status on all levels.
The procedure enhances fast and deep change, but happens in a very easy manner without rituals, with clarity and much lightness.

The use of the extra sensorial awareness (the sixed sense) makes it possible to observe the defense mechanisms originally installed to avoid contact with the unpleasant sentiments. These sentiments cover all emotions that are experienced negatively. They evolve from past experiences that include obstructive belief doctrines responsible for preventing a more authentic manifestation of oneself. This is how energetic blockages are constructed that can prevent expression of an individual in one or more aspects of his existence. This method makes it possible to identify such blockages and the extremes of polarity, the lack of balance, generated by a dualistic interpretation of the universe. The next steps after understanding the logic of the individual are: achieving a unification of consciousness within the mentioned theme and the necessary transformation.
